Ramadan Distribution in Hulu Langat

100 families in Hulu Langat received food parcels from Islamic Relief Malaysia on the 16th September 2009.Dusun Tua MP, YB Ismail Sani gave away the parcels to the beneficiaries.

Ramadan Distribution in Kg Makmur, Hulu Kinta, Perak

In cooperation with Hospital Pantai Putri Ipoh and Kelab Bakti Gunung Keledang, Islamic Relief delivered food parcels for 133 Orang Asli families in Kg. Makmur, Hulu Kinta, Ipoh, Perak. The recipients are from five neighbouring Orang Asli villages; Kg. Lalang, Kg.Kuala Termin, Kg.Jambu, Kg.Dollah and Kg.Kulim.

In addition, health check-ups was carried out by the doctors and nurses from Pantai Putri Ipoh.

Ramadan Distribution in Kg Koskan, Sg. Choh, Selangor

Islamic Relief Malaysia delivered Ramadan food parcels for 100 families in Kg.Koskan, Sungai Choh,Rawang, Selangor on the 12 September 2009.

Ramadan Distribution at Bukit Gantang, Perak, 5 September 2009

Islamic Relief distributed Ramadan food parcel to the poor beneficiaries comprised of orphans, persons with disability and senior citizen in Kampung Cheh, Bukit Gantang, Perak. At the same time, health check-up was carried out for the beneficiaries, courtesy of Columbia Asia Hospital, Taiping, Perak.

Encik Hussim Bandar, 102 years old and daughter, Zabedah, a person with disability, received food parcels from Islamic Relief for two consecutive years.

Ramadan Distribution Program in Kedah, 26 -27 August 2009

The Ramadan food distribution in Kedah was held by Islamic Relief on the 26th and 27th August 2009 at two location; Kuala Kedah and Kubang Pasu.

Distribution in Puchong & Alor Gajah, 22-23 August 2009

This year, Ramadan falls on the 22nd of August 2009. To mark the beginning of Ramadan, Islamic Relief hold a Ramadan food parcel distribution program in Puchong, Selangor benefiting single mothers and after that followed with food parcel distribution in Alor Gajah, Melaka benefiting for the Orang Asli community. The distribution is covered by RTM's TV Program - Fitrah Kasih team and to be aired in RTM on Thursday afternoon.

Ramadan Feed The Fasting Launch Do at IKIM, 17 August 2009

Islamic Relief Ramadan's Feed The Fasting Program for 2009 was officially launched by The Director General of Institut Kefahaman Islam Malaysia, Datuk Nik Mustapha Nik Hassan on the 17th August 2009 at IKIM's Main Hall.

Beneficiaries from National Little People Organisation (Persatuan Orang Kerdil Kebangsaan) and single parents were present at the ceremony to receive the food parcels.



Deputy D-G of IKIM, Prof. Dato' Dr Zaleha Kamaruddin looked on while D-G of IKIM, Datuk Nik Mustapha and Br.Zawahir handed over the food parcel to the beneficiaries.

Eve of Ramadan media briefing, 14 August 2009

Islamic Relief Malaysia held a pre-Ramadan briefing for members of media at its designated Ramadan warehouse in Taman Setapak Indah. During the event, members of the press were given a glimpse of the food packing session by Islamic Relief volunteers in preparation of Ramadan Feed The Fasting Program for 2009.
